The origins of the Cistercian Abbey in Krzeszów date back to the 13th century. This place captivates with its architecture, painting, and sculpture. It features two churches from the 17th and 18th centuries, which are listed as Polish Monuments of History. The basilica houses the oldest Marian image in Poland and valuable M. Engler organs. Krzeszów is also home to the Mausoleum of the Silesian Piasts and the Great Krzeszów Calvary.
